The Macallan, a renowned whisky brand, is celebrating its 200th anniversary by teaming up with Cirque du Soleil to create a unique experience at the Macallan Estate in Speyside. The exclusive sensory experience, called Cirque du Soleil SPIRIT, transports guests into the Scottish Highlands through taste, smell, sounds, and feelings. The story follows Davonna, a spiritual guardian, and Ayla, a young colorist, as they venture deep into the natural landscapes, culminating in a reconnection with nature. The collaboration aims to bridge the gap between whisky making and performing arts, immersing guests in a unique experience and a bespoke whisky tasting surrounded by nature. The Cirque du Soleil SPIRIT experience also emphasizes the importance of reconnecting with nature and protecting the natural world. The event will take place at The Macallan Estate in Speyside from 9 – 31 May 2024, with one experience per day, excluding Sundays. Ticket prices are £200 per person, and the timings are from 8:30pm – 10:30pm.
