Douglas Laing & Co marked its 75th anniversary by releasing six rare single casks from the family vaults named The Diamond Collection, showcasing fine drams from Scotland’s most acclaimed distilleries. Established in 1948, it is an independent, family-run business now run by founder Fred Douglas Laing’s granddaughter Cara. The handpicked collection includes Speyside’s Finest 55 Years Old, Port Dundas 45 Years Old, Macallan 35 Years Old, Blair Athol 30 Years Old, Cameronbridge 45 Years Old, and Port Ellen 40 Years Old, sampled by whisky expert Charles MacLean. Cara celebrated the family legacy and provided whisky lovers with a chance to savor the exceptional drams, reflecting the focus and philosophy of releasing excellent Scotch Whisky.
