Martin Compston and Phil MacHugh embark on a new adventure in Norway as they journey nearly 2,000 miles through the country in the first episode of Norwegian Fling. Starting in Oslo, the duo explores the vibrant capital city as the first step in their exploration of the differences and similarities between Scotland and Norway. They then visit Holmenkollen, a center for skiing excellence, where they discover the Norwegians’ love for skiing, even in the absence of snow. The boys receive a roller-skiing crash course and take a leap off the famous Holmenkollen ski jump. Additionally, they meet Norway’s youngest MP, Maren Grøthe, at The Storting, the country’s parliament, and experience Norwegian cabin life in the countryside. The six-part series will be available on BBC iPlayer from February 22nd.
